Download this Tudor Towns KS2 Geography lesson to help your class consider what towns were like in Tudor times and how they differ from towns today.

The included slides for the teaching input will help your class locate their nearest town or towns on a map, and start to consider what features and amenities it has. They will then go on to look at photos of different town centres to identify what they think would have been the same during the Tudor period and what would have been different.

During their independent work, they can then further identify similarities and differences between their modern town and the same town during the Tudor period.
