Year 6

SKU: T56IL401302

Even the sky isn't the limit in this creative lesson as your KS2 class conjure their own fictitious planet and use a variety of different media and techniques to portray a scene from their planet, exploring how colour, tone and texture can be used to create different effects.

During the teaching input, your class will consider key questions about their fictional planet so they can get a clear idea of what they want to portray in their landscape painting. They will also consider some of the different mediums they can use to create textures and tones.

They are then free to create their fictional planet landscape work of art, relying solely on their own creativity.

This lesson comes fully prepared and ready to teach. There's a lesson plan, a slideshow presentation, differentiated activity ideas and a range of printable resources to help your children plan and prepare their masterpieces.
