In this fun Tudor Music lesson, your class will learn, sing and perform a Henry VIII song to the tune of Greensleeves and with lyrics that describe his marriages to his six wives.

The lesson starts by taking a look at what music and musical instruments were like in the Tudor period and look at Henry VIII as a musician himself. It then goes on to look at the original version of Greensleeves (which is thought to have been Henry VIII's song about Anne Boleyn) before learning a new version with orginal lyrics.

The lesson not only includes an easy-to-follow lesson plan, slides and printable resources, but also backing tracks for the song. There is even a version of the track with Henry VIII himself singing!
