They will learn that China is the most populous country in the world, look at the different regions of China, and begin to understand the differences between them. They will then bring all of this knowledge and understanding together in their independent work through a variety of differentiated activities.

They will explore three vastly different landscapes in China (mountainous, river, desert), exploring their features and characteristics.
