Quickly find answers to the questions we get asked the most

What file format are PlanBee resources, and are they editable?

All PlanBee resources are in the PDF file format, downloadable immediately after purchase (we never ship physical items – it's all digital). You can edit them using PDF editing software.

Can I try before I buy?

Certainly! Have a look at our free mini-schemes and sample lesson packs to see what our resources are like. We also have hundreds of free resources.

Do I need to open an account to place an order?

Yes. All of your orders will be added to your account area. You can download them from there—whenever you need them—at no extra cost. If you don't have one, open a PlanBee account for free.

I have forgotten/lost my password, how can I reset it?

You can reset your password here. A password reset link will be emailed to you. If the email hasn't arrived in a few minutes, check your spam folder. If you continue to have problems let us know using the contact form or in the live chat.

Will my order be posted to me?

No, we never post resources. We never ask for a shipping address, so we couldn't, even if we wanted to! Every PlanBee resource is a digital product, downloadable immediately after purchase.

Can I import the slideshow presentation into my Interactive Whiteboard software?

Yes you can! The simplest way is to use your IWB software's 'overlay' mode, however there are a number of other ways to use PlanBee resources in interactive display/slideshow software.

Something on the website's not working – what can I do?

We're constantly updating planbee.com to make it better for our users. Occasionally, issues can occur if you've previously visited PlanBee and are returning again since we made changes. This is partly due to the way in which your web browser stores—or 'caches'—information about websites. In many cases where something's displaying incorrectly or a button/link stops working, clearing out your web browser's cache can fix it. Here are three steps you can try, to resolve this common issue:

Step 1: perform a 'force refresh'.

The first thing to try, if you experience an issue like this, is a 'force refresh' (or 'hard refresh'). Doing a force refresh clears your web browser's cache, but only for the page you are currently viewing. This is a good first step as it won't delete cached information for other websites you've visited. The process is the same for most web browsers:

Using Windows? Hit Ctrl + F5

Using MacOS? Hit Cmd + Shift + R

Note that because a force refresh only clears the web browser's cache for the page you are on, you may need to repeat these keyboard commands if you experience similar issues on a different page, too.

Step 2: clear your browser's cache and cookies.

If doing a force refresh doesn't work, the next thing to try is clearing your web browser's cache and cookies for planbee.com (or the entire cache). This article explains the process, depending which web browser you are using: https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/how-to-clear-browser-cache/

Note that, unless you follow the instructions specifically to clear the cache and cookies only for planbee.com, all stored data for all websites you've previously visited will be cleared, too. This may make other websites slower to load, the first time you visit them again.

Step 3: update and restart your web browser.

More recent versions of modern web browsers will update automatically, ensuring you are always using the latest version that is compatible with your device. However, they may only update when closed and re-started/re-opened:

Using Windows? Making sure that your web browser is the active window, hit Ctrl + F4

Using MacOS? Making sure that your web browser is the active window, hit Cmd + Q

Once fully closed, re-open your web browser. If your web browser is older, or does not update automatically, consult its documentation to find out how to update it.

Don't forget, you can always get in contact with our friendly team who are standing by, and ready to assist.

Can I pay for a subscription to PlanBee?

Most educators simply sign up for a free account, then pay just for the resources they need. However, we also have several different types of memberships, depending on your needs. You can pay once and then access all you need for the year. Learn more about memberships...

Where is my order? It's not been delivered.

Every single PlanBee resource is a digital product, meaning it is not physically shipped to you. They are available to download immediately after purchase. We never ship anything physically, and do not request shipping address information from you – meaning we couldn't post you anything even if we wanted to! Just log into your PlanBee account and download your order directly from your account area.

Why am I seeing a warning when I try to download my resources?

Some of our files are larger than 25MB. Files over this size cannot be scanned for viruses by Google, our file hosting provider. In these cases, Google displays a warning message, informing you of this. It is okay to disregard this message and continue to download the file anyway.

I don't have a printer, can I still use your resources?

Yes, you can! You can annotate PDFs on a computer or tablet.

I spotted a mistake in a resource: what can you do about it?

Please let us know! All PlanBee resources are proofread, but occasionally, resources are left out of a lesson plan pack by mistake. We always supply missing resources as quickly as possible, often on the same day. Learn more about the PlanBee Bug Bounty.
