Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat is PlanBee?PlanBee is a resource hive containing complete ready-to-teach schemes of work based on QCDA units for Key Stage 2. Each lesson provides a lesson plan with corresponding slides and a variety of differentiated activities, worksheets and resources...everything a teacher needs to successfully deliver creative and inspiring lessons (without the need to spend hours on planning!) How does it work?Once you have joined PlanBee by entering a few quick details you will receive a confirmation email from us. When you have received this email you are free to start shopping for resources! Browse through our range of lesson plans, using the ‘Preview’ button to get a taste for what the module has to offer. Then, simply choose the resources you would like, add them to your shopping basket and go through the checkout system. All payments go through PayPal so you can be sure your payment will be secure. As soon as your payment has gone through your resources will be available for you to download in your PlanBee account. How do I receive my resources?Once your payment has been received your resources will be available to download from your account on the PlanBee website. Simply log back into your account and click the 'receive' button next to the list of your purchased resources. What will it cost?Each individual lesson costs £2.50. This price includes a lesson plan, slides and any worksheets and resources needed for the lesson. Purchasing the 'Complete Series' of a module (i.e. all the lessons needed for a complete half-term’s work) enables you to save money by offering the block of lessons for a reduced price, saving you up to £5.50 when compared to purchasing individual lessons. How can I join?Joining is quick and simple. All you need to do is enter a few of your details (name, email address and postal address). Once we have these details we will send you a confirmation email and then you are an official member of the PlanBee hive. And don’t worry...we never pass on your details to any third parties. How can I keep up-to-date with the latest PlanBee news?In your PlanBee account you have the option of signing up to our newsletter. This keeps you up to date with the latest modules being added to the PlanBee website and informs you of any special offers or other news from the hive. What do I do if I can’t open my files?The first step you need to take if you are having problems opening your PlanBee resources if to check you have the relevant programmes needed to open the files: Abode Acrobat Reader and Apple QuickTime Player. These are free to download and there are links to both on the PlanBee website. If you have these programmes and are still unable to access your resources, please go to the ‘Contact Us’ section of the website and send us an email about the problems you are experiencing. We will contact you within 24 hours Monday to Friday.
